The White Hart in Sherrington header pub

‘Before the industrial revolution, when beer was a 1p a quart, James Watt was tinkering with a steam engine, the first canal was being dug, Arthur Guinness was experimenting with a new recipe and Woburn Abbey had the builders back in, The White Hart  was open – quenching the thirst of local folk and travellers alike.’

Still open today and every day from noon

As well as a comprehensive range of wines, lagers, spirits and cordials, the pub offers a selection of superbly kept real ales.

Together with the White Harts’ house ale and real cider, three or four guest beers are also available – the number kept manageable ensuring the freshness of every pint.

A selection of snacks, main and light meals are available in the bar, restaurant, patio and garden area.
